What does holistic mean anyway?
Holistic simple means treating the WHOLE person rather than just one aspect, such as the mind or the body. You may also see or hear the term Integrative which means what we do in our therapy sessions can work together with your other health and wellness practitioners such as massage therapists, doctors, or other specialists.
Will I need therapy forever?
Absolutely not! YOU get to decide what your therapy will look like. However, many times when people begin to see changes in their lives, they may get scared (and this is natural!) But, they may stop therapy because the changes they are experiencing are not what they KNOW, that is, what is familiar to them is shifting. Some people would rather stay in an uncomfortable situation instead of allowing something bigger and better to happen simply because they know what to expect. However, some people do need longterm therapy depending on their individual needs. This is something that we can determine together.

What is somatic or psycho-somatic therapy?
Somatic means specifically relating to the body. Psychosomatic refers to the mind being the cause of a physical symptom or ailment.
